How we protect customer data
For personal data, all information entered by customers on the website is transmitted to our server via HTTP and encrypted using SSL. Customers can check the URL in the browser’s address bar to confirm encryption by ensuring it starts with “https.”
Customer passwords are stored with the addition of a pseudorandom salt and hashed. Even if the database is compromised, it would be difficult to recover this value.
For anonymous tracking, we only store a portion of the IP address (e.g., 127.1.X.X), which is enough to determine the customer’s country while maintaining their anonymity.
